The 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a popular SUV model, but how does it compare to the Velar model? At Land Rover Cherry Hill, we strive to provide our customers with the latest information, so wise decisions can be made.

Overview of Range Rover Sport vs. Velar

The Range Rover Sport costs slightly more than the Velar model, but it offers more capability. In fact, you can customize the interior to hold either five or seven occupants, whereas the Velar only holds five people. However, the Velar offers much more cargo space at up to 70.1 cubic feet versus the 59.5 cubic feet found in a Range Rover Sport.

While both Land Rover SUVs come with the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system and LED headlights, there are some differences in features.

·        Range Rover Sport: ambient lighting, power folding heated door mirrors, 14-way powered seats with memory, an eight-speaker enhanced sound system and two-zone automatic climate control

·        Velar: powered tailgate, 14-way seats with lumbar memory, an 11-speaker Meridian premium sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio and blind-spot assist.

Additionally, you will want to evaluate the various engine options. With a 2020 Range Rover Sport, you can tow up to 7,716 pounds and choose from six available motors. On the other hand, the new Velar tows up to 5,512 pounds and comes with four engines.
