The 2021 Range Rover includes multiple powertrain options. The base model is a 355-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder, four-wheel-drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. There’s also a 395-horsepower version of this engine and the 518- or 557-horsepower supercharged V8. You can also choose a 398-horsepower plug-in hybrid four-cylinder or a 254-horsepower turbodiesel V6.
Range Rover Sport models include a 355-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder, a 395-horsepower variant of this motor, a 518- or 575-horsepower supercharged V8 or the 398-horsepower plug-in hybrid. As with the larger model, you can also choose the 254-horsepower turbodiesel V6.
Both Land Rover SUVs can hold five people, but the Range Rover has more cargo room. In the standard model, you can expect 34.5 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats with 70.9 cubic feet when those are folded down, but the long-wheelbase model achieves up to 77.5 cubic feet. However, the Range Rover Sport is rated at 27.5 cubic feet behind the seats and a total of 62.2 cubic feet.
Both of the Land Rover SUVs come with a long list of standard equipment, including dual ten-inch touch screens, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a navigation system, satellite radio, HD Radio, USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a 13-speaker sound system. The 2021 Land Rover Range Rover dimensions measure 197-207′′ L x 78′′ W x 73-74′′ H, while the Range Rover Sport is smaller at 192′′ L x 82′′ W x 71′′ H. Both of these models include 19-, 20-, 21- or 22-inch wheels, but the Range Rover offers 28 exterior colors versus the 24 paints for the Range Rover Sport.
